Tony Hillerman's Talking God was released by Harper & Row in 1989. This advance reading copy cover was not used for the first edition hardback cover of Talking God. The final cover was modified to include images of Washington DC behind the image of the Navajo mask of Talking God. Design Director: Joseph Montebello. Design and illustration: Peter Thorpe.
